How does shipping work?
All items are shippable unless otherwise noted (mostly furniture pieces). At checkout, your shipping option will be labeled, "Shipping Invoice to Come." Though the platform automatically labels it as, "$0.01," I regret to inform we cannot offer shipping for a penny.
You will receive a shipping invoice via email within 72 hours of your purchase. Your card will be authorized for the full amount of the item[s] purchased, but funds will not be withdrawn from your account until the shipping invoice is paid. You will likely see this authorized charge as pending in your bank.
Though we offer discounted shipping rates, we understand if the shipping invoice total deters you from finalizing your purchase. If you change your mind upon receipt of the shipping total, please reply via email so we can release the funds back to you. If a shipping invoice is not paid within 48 hours of receipt, your order will be voided, funds released, and item[s] relisted. Your bank may take up to 7 business days for funds to be made available again.
If you want to know shipping costs prior to checkout, email the name of the item[s] you're curious about, along with your shipping address, to contact@gatheredtogether.us or by using our contact form. We will do our best to reply within 24 hours, but can't guarantee your item[s] will still be available.
For shipping calculations to be automated at checkout, each item would need to be measured and weighed prior to selling. As a small business, and because inventory is constantly changing, we're unable to automate shipping calculations.

How do I pick up my item?
If you would like to pickup your item locally, select, "Pickup in store" at checkout. Most items are ready for pickup within 24 hours in Burnsville, MN. (Note, due to previous commitments, the soonest May items will be available for pickup is Tuesday, May 6th.)
Upon purchasing your item, you will receive an order confirmation. Within 24 hours of this confirmation email, you will receive a follow up email indicating your order is ready for pickup. Reply directly to that email or text/call the embedded phone number to arrange a pickup time. Most pickups can be flexible porch pickups.
All purchases are authorized at checkout, but not completed until you are satisfied with your item at pickup. You will likely see the charge in your bank as "pending" until the item is picked up and purchase processed.
We are happy to hold your paid-for item up to 7 days after purchase. Items not picked up within 7 days of purchase will be re-listed and funds forfeited.
If you would prefer to pickup your item in Minneapolis, many pickups may be arranged Sunday mornings between 8:30 and 9:30 at Spyhouse Coffee Roasters in Northeast Minneapolis.
If you are in the west metro, many pickups can be arranged at Getaway Motor Cafe in Carver.
Pickups in Minneapolis or Carver are on a flexible, as-available basis and may not be available within 7 days of purchase.
If you opt into a more flexible pickup time, your card will be charged 7 days after purchase regardless of if you've received your item.
What if I have a question about an item before purchasing?

Can I view furniture before purchasing?
We value your satisfaction prior to purchasing. There are 2 ways we can arrange for furniture viewing:
- You may purchase the furniture piece at checkout and arrange for viewing/pickup by responding to your confirmation email. All purchases at checkout are processed as authorized. They are not finalized until you are satisfied with your item at pickup (so long as pickup is arranged within 7 days of purchase). The transaction will likely appear in your bank as pending, but funds will not be transferred until your item is picked up. If the furniture item is not what you were hoping for, funds will be released back to you. Note, your bank may take up to 7 business days to release funds back to you.
- If you'd like to view a furniture piece prior to authorizing a transaction, you may arrange a time by emailing contact@gatheredtogether.us or reaching us through our contact form. However, if the furniture piece is purchased prior to your arranged viewing time, preference will be given to the buyer and your viewing time canceled.
What is your return policy?
All purchases are final sale. The only exception to this is if you choose to decline an item at pick-up within 7 days of purchase. In this case, the authorized funds will be released back to you. Note, it may take up to 7 days for your bank to release your funds. Please ensure you read and understand the pre-loved condition of items below.
How "loved" is pre-loved?
Though we would proudly display any of our items, all items are pre-loved and may have signs of wear.
Part of the beauty of our gathered items is in the imperfections and stories they bring to your homes.
We will do our best to ensure photos are accurate and to disclose any significant flaws in an item's description. Please ensure you read the item description prior to purchasing.
Do you offer delivery?
Unfortunately we cannot offer delivery at this time.
